Wow…..Brian Flores is suing the NFL for discrimination!!

Flores also says he has a text from Belichick saying the Giants already decided to hire the inexperienced coach from the Bills BEFORE Flores was interviewed. 👀 Hmmmm

He claims the nfl doesn't hire black coaches yet he was hired as a black coach. Then he sues AFTER he gets fired on a team which made the playoffs last year and failed to do the same this year. Weak.

No more of these fat white boy slobs like Andy Reid, Rex Ryan, Belichick and Madden getting their privileged positions handed to them at the expense of POCs. The systemic racism will hopefully end here.

I am not sure what I would do in his situation. Yes he will get a settlement but he probably won't get another job in the NFL again.

This happens everywhere, not just the NFL. I’m a white dude and I interviewed for a position in my company. Turns out during my phone interview they were giving a tour to the individual that they attended to hire. Of course he got hired. He’s a black dude and a very nice man, well qualified. Sometimes they just know who they want and it’s based on best qualified.

If he was still coaching, this would have never arisen with him. Again, he lashed out after he was fired. Hmm, just another former disgruntled employee.

Yeah I’m not sure financially that this was the correct decision but maybe he felt morally obligated to fight against what he believes is discrimination. He’s definitely done coaching in the NFL, at least at the HC level.

the dolphins have had several coaches since Shula left over 20 years ago. every one of them fired after 3 or 4 seasons right around 500. some a little above, some a little below like Flores.

I didn't think he should be fired, but this is the way they do things. It's not a great organization

The guy the Giants hired was a freakin special teams coach!!!!!! Spare me with that “best qualified” crap. No way in hell was he the most qualified.

He was fired by a black GM so it's hard to claim it was a racist firing. The parts about tanking are a bigger deal for the NFL because it throws the integrity of the sport in question. "Tanking for Tua" was a well-used theme but the tanking usually is not publicly disclosed.

Apparently ownership wanted to bring in Al Sal as a masseuse/physical trainer and Flores wasn't having it--that was the last straw.

Flores is mad because the interview was basically a sham. I'm sure it was. , that's what happens when the NFL forces teams to interview TWO minority candidates.

What i do actually believe from Flores is that the team owner wanted to lose on purpose to get better draft picks. Missing the playoffs but drafting 15th is a zero sum game. Maybe this is why he got fired.

Lol. Elway showing up for an interview extremely hungover sounds exactly right. Belichick unintentionally screwing over the Giants is hilarious, too. I assume the Stephen Ross story is true as well, in which case he should lose control of the Dolphins. Paying coaches to tank while investing in an online sports gambling start up? He'd probably be looking at jail time if he weren't obscenely wealthy.
