Joanthan Gault has written a great feature on the Union Athletics Club. We learn that Donavan Brazier had a great reason for not making the Olympics team, Craig Engels is rejuvenated and much more. Read it now as after 24 hours this feature will go behind our SC paywall.

"If I could redo that race (the 2020 US Olympic Trials 1500) 100 different times, I think I would be third 95 of those times. I should have never ever lost to Yared that day."
and
"Hopefully, I can prove indoors that I’m still the US champion and the best miler in America."
I'm a bit suspect of Craig's "Rebirth" saga, and he seems pretty confident (or cocky) as to his current fitness and ability. He leaves zero doubt as to what he is ready to do. He has a new agent, a re-energized relationship with Pete, and the club. I will say this, athletes like Craig are emotionally driven and need constant stimuli and change to be successful. When they find the right combination of coach, training partners, and training environment they can and will perform extremely well. I'm gonna give Craig the benefit of the doubt and believe he is going to run very well this weekend and the upcoming season. He clearly is a talented runner and given his "Refreshed" outlook on the sport I think he will at a minimum run PB's across the board.
To all the Nay-Sayers from last summer of Donovan Brazier...You're complete idiots! I was amazed at how so many people doubted his ability, mental stamina, and coach, and had written him off. I'm excited to see how fast this guy is going to run this year. New 800 AR? World Champs? New 1500 PB? A lot of Dumb-A^^ES will be eating some serious crow.
I look forward to reading all of the "Suck off" DB posts after this weekend.
