Biting into one and the first overwhelming flavor you get is processed coconut oil, followed by a nasty synthetic “meat” aftertaste
No idea how people stomach this lab meat, let alone rave about it like it’s actually meat

So don't eat them. Leaves more for the rest of us.
Coconut oil, being an oil means it is processed. You don't have to add 'processed' to it. There is no such thing as 'unprocessed coconut oil'.
Also, impossible burgers are not 'lab meat' or some kind of synthetic creation as you seem to imply. Its just a mixture of ingredients like any other non-meat patty. Just look for yourself.
Water, Soy Protein Concentrate, Coconut Oil, Sunflower Oil, Natural Flavors, 2% Or Less Of: Potato Protein, Methylcellulose, Yeast Extract, Cultured Dextrose, Food Starch Modified, Soy Leghemoglobin, Salt, Mixed Tocopherols (Antioxidant), Soy Protein Isolate, Vitamins and Minerals (Zinc Gluconate, Thiamine Hydrochloride (Vitamin B1), Niacin, Pyridoxine Hydrochloride (Vitamin B6), Riboflavin (Vitamin B2), Vitamin B12).
The only thing worse than Impossible Burgers are Beyond Burgers.
My family tried them over the summer. We were burping up a nasty aftertaste for hours afterward. Never again.
They nailed the texture, but the flavor is off. I thought they were just “meh.” Certainly not disgusting.
Meh to each their own. I think ground beef is absolutely vile.

Agreed. I highly prefer a bean burger over meat substitutes.
As a vegetarian, these are the last two plant based burgers I would eat. There aren’t even beneficial ingredients in them. So many other veggie burgers that taste better and are better for you.
Idiots can continue to get fleeced by the very capitalists they claim to hate.
More real meat for the rest of us.

The guy is wrong anyway. There is a difference between unprocessed and processed coconut oil. Unprocessed would be whatever gets squeezed out of the coconut tissue, and at the very least it is filtered. That is a level of processing.
And yea, both Impossible Burger and Beyond Meat are gross. I tried both because I really do want to cut down on red meat, but the taste is bad. Maybe some like it, but it is disingenuous to say you can't tell it from the real thing. I further understand that mass consumption of red meat is bad for the environment and if it wasn't available, I'd make do without.

yea, we had the same problem but it was coming out the other end for several days after we ate them and they were quite heinous
I had them once in a restaurant and I would not order them again.
Why are you posting this here? Maybe start your own blog instead.
I’ve tried one of them, don’t remember if it was impossible or beyond? It was just okay. Not good enough to have a second time.
Agreed, there are better veggie burgers on the market.
I do prefer the real thing over all of them, however.

I am talking about a product or ingredient. You cannot buy 'unprocessed coconut oil'. Any oil sold or used as an ingredient is considered a processed food, it is devoid of any fiber and is not the whole plant. So no, I am not wrong.
Why cut down on red meat? Lean unprocessed red meat is one of the healthiest things you can eat.
1000x better than disgusting lab meat made with fake blood and coconut juice lol
With all the toppings and condiments I put on a typical burger, I can't really taste the difference

Not to nit pick you again but ground beef is not 'unprocessed' and generally a burger patty contains quite a few food additives (which are not regulated btw) and fillers regardless of '100% beef' claims.
As far as cutting back on red meat, theres quite a few reasons. For one things red meat is linked to heart disease, diabetes and various cancers (just to list a few). Meat is also generally not good for the gut microbiome which we are learning more and more about the importance of a healthy gut (linked to everything from physical to mental health). Then there is the environmental impact of producing mass quantities of meat.
