Guessing those are FL and PA state indoor hs records and all-time prs for both . . .
Martin was 11th at RunningLane with a time of 14:24. So he averaged just under 4:25 for 2 miles on the track in January and 4:38 over 5k, on a very fast course, at peak shape, with national-level competition. Seems *fairly* reasonable to me.

Marginal PRs for both. Harrison ran 8:47 and Martin ran 8:49 for the 3200 last year.
Seed times.
🤦♂️
Should've known when the "results" matched up with their PRs, lol.
The race goes off at 1:20 ET I believe
Who ya got? Rheinhardt is a stud that has dominated the Florida scene, but he rarely races the big dogs outside his state. I'll take him for the win in ~8:50, slow first mile with a blazing last 800.
Martin ran 4:09 in the DMR last night, so I'm going RH in an 8:51-8:52.
Looks like he was a DNS.... anybody know if he's injured?
he ran the 1k in 2:22 instead
9:04.6 for Gary Martin. That’s US#1. Why are HS times so slow this indoor season?

Ok, that’s funny 2:22.77 is not slow.
First good HS performance this year
The indoor season just began…
Can you run a 9:04?

I’m just saying that because XC was so fast (well, not Eastbay)

OMICRON
a lot of talk down here about ms paying the c oaches of the invitational runners to bring their athletes. Not legal is it?

#2 all time. Sort of a weak event but definitely a solid time for January.
Now imagine how fast he would be if his mom coached him.

Great result for early season. Robby Andrews record isn't that soft 2:22.28, maybe someone could've run like 2:21 since but the record he broke was Webbs 2:23.
When Webb ran 2;23, it was his 2nd race of the day.
