So I ordered a second pair of Dragonflies from a reseller site, and I'm beginning to suspect that they're fakes.
They don't have anywhere near as much "pop" as the originals, the colors are a slightly different shade, and the inside sole size seems slightly off. I then searched Google and YouTube and found that fake Alpaflys are a thing.
Is it possible that I got scammed, or am I just being paranoid?

They look new.
I ordered the green version yesterday from Nike. I guess I'll be wearing the green ones in races and the possibly fake spikes in workouts.

That wouldn’t be the correct pluralization because it’s a proper noun. Just add an S to proper nouns. It may look strange, but it’s true. Just as if you had two girls named Amy. There would be two Amys, not Amies. A Christmas card from a family with the last name Connelly would be from the Connellys.

Precisely. There are numerous grammar sources explaining exactly this. Especially with a trademarked name like a brand name, the pluralization should not change the spelling other than by adding an s. (The Tony Awards is the Tonys, not the Tonies).
Come on, at least be correct when you go around being a grammar pedant.

Not to say it doesn't happen but I have never seen "fake" spikes out there. Mainly bc it isn't worth the scammers time given it is such a small market compared to standard shoes.
In conclusion, I would highly doubt they are fake but without photos it would be hard to be 100% certain.
I'd say they're probably real.
-StockX does legit checks and is a reputable vendor that is trusted to handle transactions on things worth over 10k.
-You're right that there are fake alpha/vaporflies out there. A search on aliexpress or dhgate will show you pages of fakes for those, but not a single one for dragonflys or any other spikes.
The market for spikes is miniscule compared to road shoes.
I know others have already piled on, but, my god, I love everything about this post. More specifically, I love the unintentional comedy of a pretentious dweeb getting it wrong. I liken it to when I hear someone say (always self-importantly), "well, between you and I...." I have to bite my tongue not to say "hey pretentious twit, 'between you and me' is actually correct." And, by the way, there's nothing inherently wrong with starting a sentence with "so," just like there's nothing inherently wrong with starting a sentence with "and" as I just did.

One of my teammates bought a pair from stockx and they caught that they were fakes and gave him a refund.

Interesting! I suppose fake Dragonflies do exist after all.
My advice is that you should trash those shoes now.
If you do not believe they are real, do not believe the shoes are fast, do not believe in the magic, it will not be there and will never be there. You have already set yourself up for failure with those shoes.
Buy two new pairs directly from Nike. Watch and rewatch all the videos of medals being won and records being broken in those shoes. When you get the shoes, go out to the fastest track you know of and run some 200s at 90% effort with a rolling start. Make sure you go into this well rested, get a good warm up, its a nice day, that you wear your fastest race clothing and, if, possible, you have a slight tailwind.
You will absolutely know from looking at your watch that the shoes are the real deal...
stockx verifies authenticity. Google it.
