Just think he could run legs on your 4x1 and 4x4, long jump, and run the 100 and 200, could be involved in 50 points for the team. Who does that?

I don;t know, I get while at Georgia it's all about points so the more events the better but do doubt he has any future as a long jumper or 100m sprinter, I do think he ends up 400/200 as an open competitor. But right now score all ya can.
That's cool and all but he's no jack of all trades on the level of a decathlete, and hes also not a master of any.
No need or chance of him doing this in college, but it seems to me he could be pretty good at decathlon later on.

Once again letsrunners refusing to read the obvious. Dude has shifted his focus to long jump and that's what he's going to be doing - long jump. 8.25m is enough for top 6 worldwide, so there's that. With 8.40 he could medal at any championship and that is a realistic improvement within next season or two.
Should he transfer to Houston to work under the GOAT long jumper Carl Lewis?
This type of ignorance gets annoying. Just because someone was a great athlete in an event doesn’t mean they can coach it. In fact many or I would say most great athletes have no idea why they were great and are poor coaches.
Not sure where ignorance comes into this, the guy was just speculating (as are you).

Georgia has done a great job with him
They kept him healthy, which is no small feat
He has progressively improved across all events
He has already won NCAA and all time NCAA top 10 (200m)
Rare are the top HS 100m superstars who do anything after HS

Great athletes don't know anything about the sport according to you. We should all listen to anonymous let'srun posters who never sprinted sub-60 seconds 400m or sub-5 one mile.
His distance would have won the bronze medal at the Olympics.

Guy makes the Olympic A standard in first meet of the year with a distance that would have taken bronze last summer.

I've seen all kinds of crazy metrics on this board. You gotta be top 5 in the world or you're a nobody according to some of these guys. Most of which are not even top 500 or 5000 themselves at their peaks.
