Pat Tiernan is splitting ways with Mark Rowland and OTC. Anyone know why? Where will he go next?

I read he was running the Houston Half Marathon Sunday
Saw this on Instagram earlier! The post was incredibly vague. “…this sport can be cruel. Especially cruel when decisions are unfortunately out of your control”. Wonder what that means 🤷♂️
VISA issue preventing him from remaining based in the states is the only thing i can think of?
Assume that he's not been dropped by Nike and even if he had OTCE wouldn't be siding with Tiernan with the way they worded their IG post.
Is Angel still part of the group or are they both leaving.
Good, he can go join Melbourne TC. I've had enough with foreigners taking domestic development spots.
No indication on Angel’s IG page that her situation is changing.
Speaking of Angel, how could this be a visa issue for Pat if he and Angel are getting married?
Yeah. He is good enough and young enough that it would seem strange that Nike would drop him and OTCE would put out a message of support. However, it is that time of year and even Salazar was supportive of runners he liked when they were dumped by Nike (thinking of Puskedra)
Yeah, its all very odd. I read the IG posts as Nike dropping him
Will he join some of his Aussie brothers at OAC and the good ole Coffee Club?
This post was removed.
Great to see Pat run that 60:55 today in Houston.
Was it ever determined where he would be going after leaving OTC?
What happened there?
He's signed with Puma and moving to the NC group to be coached by Cragg. Apparently he was negotiating with Nike to re-sign and they didn't come to the table, so he's signed with Puma and that was his best option in the US.

Thank you for taking the time to reply.
I hope to see him continue to do well.

There is a short post-Houston interview on Flotrack. He is moving to NC in a couple of weeks and gearing for the 10,000 at the World Champs but then will pivot to getting ready for the Marathon in Paris 2024.
Why move to a state where cannabis is still illegal?
Has anyone Cragg coached done a thing yet? I could be out of the loop, but I havent seen anything on here or Instagram

I can name a dozen people who have run faster than 62:20 for half marathon in the past couple years who do not get paid to run. Is Dressel actually sponsored by the Puma group and getting paid?
