Isn’t this what we all knew would happen? Time to tell people to make their own risk assessment and get, or don’t get, the shots depending on how your individual risk factors line up. Enough of the fear mongering and threats as well as lock downs and other ineffective measures.
We're winning the COVID debate. The health bureaucracy (CDC, FDA, and whatever Fauci is) is finally admitting masks don't work, vaccines don't prevent the spread, people are in the hospital "with" not "because of" COVID, the quarantine guidelines are outdated, etc. Keep pushing, we have almost won this debate once and for all.
All the vaccinating, mask wearing and general stupidity over something everyone will catch anyway.

In a world of 8 billion people, 5.5 million is about as significant as your flawed opinion.
I'm sick with covid now. I've been feeling symptoms since Monday. I took one of those home tests and it was positive.
For me it is basically a cold. It has stayed on my head so far. I have headache and congestion. When I look at my phone, laptop or tv too long my head hurts. I walked around outside today and it was fine. I would run but from my experience in the past when I ran with a cold it always got worse.

Anyone else notice that later in a senate hearing on the same day he doubled down on the CDC study from October and said that the unvaccinated are 20 times likelier to die, 17 times likelier to be hospitalized and 10 times likelier to be infected than the vaccinated?
So which is it? Are vaccinated individuals just as likely to get infected as the unvaccinated, or are they ten times less likely to get infected than the unvaccinated, because that statement affects the other two factors in his statement. How can he claim the vaccines are 10 times protective against infection and then on the same day claim that everyone will get infected with COVID? Is this another one of his masks don't work statements?
On another note, the CDC and Bernie Sanders are looking to upgrade their mask recommendations so that everyone can get N95 masks. Which would actually make an impact, but it is about a month to late for it to make much of a difference now.
He's made his money off of this pandemic, time to smooth it over and exit nicely.

I was correct when Fauci was wrong.
Fauci with his many degrees, experience and information at his fingertips was still almost two years behind the curve. Or possibly he was knowingly misleading people for almost two years. Not sure which is worse.
