He has been fat and out of shape for at least seven years. I can't put him ahead of Fran Tarkenton. Tarkenton played the same number of seasons but kept himself in shape. I can't put him ahead of Staubach either.
Currently he is ranked at 7th all-time.
Favre is maybe top 15, but laughable at 7. He collected stats, both good and bad, in large numbers. Where’s John Elway, Troy Aikman, Otto Graham, Roger Staubach, Sammy Baugh? All of those are more solid than Favre. All are better than Ben too.

Some of those are pretty good - but here's mine:
1. Tom Brady
2. Joe Montana
3. Aaron Rodgers
4. Peyton Manning
5. John Elway
6. Terry Bradshaw
7. Brett Favre
8. Drew Brees
9. Big Ben
10. Troy Aikman
You can't be serious.
Favre a three time NFL MVP, 11 time pro bowler, three time All Pro.
None of those you mentioned compared to him.
Big Ben above all of them also in the stat world and a two time SB champ.
Will give Otto some props for all those titles way back when.
No.
Steve Young isn't on anybody's list?
1 Bolt
2 Big Ben Johnson
3 Bob Hayes
4 Carl

Yeah...I was vacillating between Aikman & Young for the my 10th spot. 🤔
Elway's stats were not better than Favre's. His stats, actually, seem pretty mediocre. He had a passer rating of 79.9 for his career and threw over 2 interceptions for every touchdown he threw.
He threw over 2 interceptions for every 3 touchdowns he threw I meant to type.
Young didn't have as many prime years because he sat behind Montana, but his stats still stack up to players today. He is probably the most underrated quarterback ever.
Young lead the NFL in touchdowns four times and quarteback rating 6 times, and he is second all-time in rushing touchdowns by a quarterback with 43. He threw 6 touchdowns passes in his Super Bowl win. He was also a two time league MVP. Aikman was not at that level.

A couple of thoughts:
First of all, John Elway belongs on the top 10 list. No doubt about it.
I'm ok with your top 4.
Dan Marino is better than Drew Brees. I don't care that Brees won a Superbowl or has more career yards (benefitted from his era). Dan Marino put up 2022 type numbers in the 1980's when nobody else was doing that. His release was so good that he could overcome a lot of weakness on his offensive line. Despite not having won a Superbowl, he was clutch and carried his teams to a lot of wins.

Well...Dan Fouts was putting up those kind of numbers as well, imho, in the 80s, but no one talks about him. I think his won-loss record wasn't so hot...about .500, iirc.
I wouldn't put Marino in the all time top ten. Maybe top-ten of the 20th century.
I think you have to put Joe Namath in the top 5.
Ben has played in 22 playoff games which is number 5 all-time. Implication is that he’s been more successful than most in getting to the playoffs.
Of the players with more playoff games than him, he has a better playoff win % record (13 wins 9 losses) than Peyton (14-13) and Favre (13-11)

His stats sucked but he was extremely talented. His combination of arm strength, quick release and accuracy was as good as it gets. He claimed that before his first knee injury, he could run a 4.6 40. The surgery sucked at the time and he was a borderline cripple after that first one.
