Ok, so the FDA says it’s due to the vaccine but you say it’s not so it’s not?
The vaccine can cause them very rarely. COVID causes it way more.
Basic math
Interesting point of view, I guess the FDA just sees things a little differently, do you have your up to date stats on how many babies are getting seizures from Covid, just so we get the record straight

0.5 - 1% of children with clinically significant COVID-19 have febrile seizures vs 3 / 100k (0.003%) children after COVID-19 vaccination.
To explore the clinical characteristics and prognosis of febrile seizure in children with COVID-19.This study is a single-center retrospective cohort study. The cases included febrile seizures in children with COVID-19 admitt...

Throughout the pandemic, febrile seizures have resulted from infection secondary to severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus-2 (SARS-CoV-2). The objective of this study is to determine if there is an increased associatio...

Lol. It's literally 300x greater in COVID vs the vaccine. Absolute mic drop.
Noyankee, predictably, will not respond, but good work refuting this BS.
“Clinically significant,” meaning hospitalized, were the operative words. Of course the vast, vast, vast majority of children with Covid are not hospitalized nor are they even really that sick. So no refutation. Your usually keen mind got ahead of itself a little bit there my vax soulmate. Easy buddy.

I might actually be smarter than Harambe. I didn’t fancy myself so, but who knew?

Incorrect. Read the methods of all three studies. It was not just hospitalizations.
Yes the true case rate of infants is hard to determine. But please provide data to back up your assertions.
Lastly please notice the background rate of febrile seizures in the control periods in the vaccination risk study.

Fair, yes, it was hospitalizations and very sick kids. Do we think the vast majority of infants and children didn’t get Covid? That would be news to us.
You’ll notice some studies don’t find increased rates of seizures in COVID pos infants and some do! Just like some find increased rates after vaccination and some don’t!
What we do know is febrile seizures are common (4-8% of babies have one at some time), so matching it with specific infections is difficult due to poor epidemiology in infants.

In other words, comparing post-Covid vaccination seizures to post-Covid seizures is a ridiculously impossible exercise, so why are we?
