No mention of the attempt on either Nick or Tracksmith's Twitter/Instagram accounts. I'm guessing either the attempt didn't happen at all or he didn't break 4:00.
That’s great marketing. Hype an event, and then keep it a secret. Idk if that’s intentional, but I find it frustrating. Of course they don’t owe me anything- and I think Nick is great. But I was thinking about it as a sports fan, so I want to know what happened, just like any other sports event that happened last night.
I know there are pandemic issues, but still… anyway, thanks to Nick for the IG and accessibility he does provide so many other times.

Yes, I could imagine the Super Bowl. Hype the event. Do it with no spectators. Tape it. Then show it one week later.
