Remember. She's a total stud. She got her US citizenship earleir this year and has pb of 14:39/30:07/2:22:43.
And she's pretty young at 33.

and she lives in Kenya!!!!! 😜
I wouldn't say "pretty young" at 33. Still competitive in the marathon but has no chance of making the team at 5,000 or 10,000. PR at 10,000 is from 2016 and PR at 5,000 is from 2014. She'll need a year before she can begin to race at her best again. She's run a few good marathons in the last few years in Toronto and Paris but I think Seidel is one certain Olympic spot. Some people were calling Sara Hall "too old" in the 2020 Trials at age 36. Gladys Cherono, Mary Keitany, and Vivian Cheruiyot are really the only marathoner women that I can think of that ran their best times at age 35 or older. I think Radcliffe peaked around 30 like most runners. By 2024 she will be 36.
On a side note, be careful about using the term "pretty" in any context when talking about a female runner. SafeSport is always on the prowl.
She lives full-time in Tennessee.
When was the last time she ran a marathon.
Write this down: She will never make a World Championship or Olympic team.

I think it will be 20+ years until the kid does anything on the world stage.

Just had a baby, turns 34 in June. I wouldn't exactly say that is young, especially coming back from having a baby which is basically an injury. Maybe next fall she'll be back to running something pretty good, but I only see her contending in anything in the marathon. Her 5k/10k PRs are from over 5 years ago, and even her marathon is from over 2 years ago. No guarantee she will get back to 2:22 at this point and there are a lot of US runners who are 24-30 years of age running in the 2:20's, give them a couple more years and there will probably be a handful of sub 2:25's from the current group. Seidel, Sisson, Bates, Frisbie, Sara Hall for a couple more years, maybe Huddle can make a return for a big marathon, Taylor, others that I'm missing. US women are getting quite crowded in the low to mid 2:20's, and I would say that Saina's stock has been decreasing since 2016.
truth be told. wrote:

Wanted to add Betsy was part of one of the most dramatic marathon finishes ever beating out a Ruth Chepngetich who just wouldn't quit.
https://youtu.be/jnrHXeY0LkcBaraka is a week old today. Both mom and baby are doing well. I’d never count Bets out. She’s going to ease back into training and will be a real threat by the time the marathon trials roll around. She has no intention of returning to the track.

POTD
The true answer to your question is, it depends ... where will Baraka's parents raise him? Kenya or the U.S.? Tirunesh Dibaba and Sileshi Sihine's kids are being raised in Ethiopia so their loyalties are to be determined.
