This Matt whoever is a documentary videographer, not really much of a journalist and not exactly growing anyone else's exposure. Simple fact he should have remembered: don't shít where you eat.

Yeah it is a big pet peeve of mine when people that are supposed to be mature, wise, and distinguished, post passive aggressive shots on social media. Either handle it off of the internet like an adult or expose yourself with the maturity of a high schooler

And this is regardless of who is right or wrong in the beef

What a coward Lee is.. doesn't show much emotional intelligence here. Luckily coaching doesn't take any... oh wait. If you do something like that be man enough to throw the persons name under the bus if there is more going on here (sexual assault emotional abuse etc) than say what more is going on or plead the 5th and shut up on twitter. If I was a prospective marathoner looking to join a group his would now removed from my list. If I have learned anything from my career don't work for someone who has less emotional intelligence or backbone than you, you will get taken advantage of.

All that being said maybe he should say this because we need more drama in the sport... but than he is hypocritically saying everyone knows each other in pro running

Flipside is also true, Matt Fox was childish to broadcast his biased account on his podcast like that. He fired the first shot in this by putting it out there that way. He made himself the story and trashed two good people who have been out there doing work for a long time that he could come along and leech content from. He may make it out to be that he's gaining exposure for the group and its members yet he's gaining far more value than he contributes in this scenario. Guarantee he's not paying the groups or coaches any licensing fees. He needs access yet didn't act like he valued it. He put his own pecker into the mix meaning next time he shows up to film that group maybe that woman feels uncomfortable to show up to training that day and her friends all know why. Don't blame the coaches for uniting and blackballing him one iota. He shat where he eats and his chickens have come home to roost. Don't feel bad for that guy AT ALL. If he was smart and professional (enough) he would have simply let it die quietly, learn his lesson and move on.

Brother, no one except the people personally involved in this dumb@ss drama (which I'm guessing you are from that long post lol) cares.

This sounds like Lee screwed up by letting this scum bag into his team. Others probably thought the guy was okay because he worked with Lee. I think Lee is letting others know that he screwed up and will not vouche for him. Smart move if he can’t keep it in his pants as other groups would blame Lee. It sounds like there is already a 2nd group that has had problems. I guarantee that Lee calling him out will put the halt on this guy working with Bowerman or NAZ or Hansons or Team Minnesota or Atlanta as well as many others.

This much is clear. Matt and other non-hackers (half of Boulder millennials most days) get feels over being confronted when their presence and input are unconstructive and unwanted and launch anonymous, cowardly attacks here. As if that's really going to make them feel better long term about what they lack.
