NAU for sure, top 100/200m guy barely broke 11 and 22 last season, and their top 400m guy ran just a hair under 49.
Not awful times but compared to the distance program you can see where the money is going
Eastern Michigan
Richmond
Furman
Notre Dame
Portland
Portland State
Colorado?
Toledo?

Richmond doesn’t have a men’s tracks and field team.

Iowa State invests in field events as well, they've signed multiple high jumpers/multi athletes this year with the new staff. I'd imagine its still distance heavy with scholarships though
I scrolled through their commits and only see distance other than some in state kids. Those kids get in state tuition and an athletic stipend. So you are technically correct but they are putting 11 scholarships in distance and 1.6 into everything else. That is what most would classify as putting their scholarships in distance.
Some missing from the list
Gonzaga
Iona
Lipscomb
North Florida
Belmont
San Francisco (really a lot of WCC programs)
Does BYU scholarship anything outside of distance? Seems like since they left MWC they moved away from track but may work into it again in the Big XII.

I had a former teammate receive money at BYU as a 100m and jumps type athlete.
As a guy that grew up in Utah I know that many of the best runners in the state happily took a pref walk-on spot at BYU just to be part of the program. They have enough of a reputation that they don’t necessarily need to throw scholarship money around to field a good distance recruiting class.
Lipscomb and belmont have money in other event groups.

That was not the question.
Richmond puts all of its money into the distance program there.
Scholarships are given for CC, and then those distance runners still run events in the spring.
Here is how it is described on their website: "During the spring semester, the Richmond men compete on the
Track as well as in Road Races, Trail Races, Mountain Races, and additional US and Collegiate National
Championship events."
Wisconsin
What are you really wanting to know? There is a direct correlation between scholarships and performance.

And BYU is very cheap if you are Mormon… like crazy cheap.

$8000 total for LDS members. Many kids would decline a scholarship if their family is in a good financial position. I wouldn't be surprised to find out that they only give out a few scholarships.
