That will make A LOT of meat with the "special sauce" for burritos. Excuse me while I make a few calls.
Medina Spirit was an unapologetic drug cheat. He'd take just about anything, as long as it was illegal. Not just steroids and other PEDs, either; many were the times that Medina Spirit was late for practice - or didn't show up at all - after a weekend spent bingeing on mushrooms, crack, hash, ecstasy, fentanyl...you name it. Word is that even his owner and trainers were taken aback when they realized the scale of their horse's drug addiction. Sad case.
Do horses normally have heart attacks? Could it be PED related?
Or is this just an example of us thinking every premature death of a druggie is related to their PED usage when it may just be coincidence.

Bob Baffert deserves a death penalty for his treatment of horses ..as a native Californian, and horse racing supporter and even bettor ...i support this
I love. Horses...f Baffert.
Bob Baffert strikes again 😢
USADA will oversee drug testing in horse racing starting in July, litigation pending. It can't happen soon enough.
Baffert is certainly a very evil soul.
it was the COVID vaccine, dumbace!
Bet none of you would be accusing it of doping if it had been a white horse.

Or was it jabbed for Covid, as has been done to many animals?

I wouldn't say heart attacks are common for breakdowns. Usually it is an untreatable injury like a broken leg for currently racing horses. I'm not super familiar with every breakdown in early morning training, but more often its a structural issue and not something internal like heart failure.

It is not unheard of.. Just like runners sometimes drop dead at a young age.
Not without precedent for a Derby winner either.
