Simply, dumb.
New Balance and NSAF part ways last year. Now, BOTH are hosting an "Indoor Nationals HS Meet" in NY, the very same weekend. Which one should HS coaches choose?

New York state meet is at ocean breeze, so i would go to the armory just to see something different.
Were New Balance and NSAF partners in the past, and then split? Just wondering who ran the meet in it's previous form...
I would go with the organization that was in charge before, as Im guessing it will be better run.
Go to both.
I would probably go to Ocean Breeze. Armory seems like a little more hassle to deal with.
They were up through the second time indoors was cancelled. NB decided they could host on their own, especially with their new track in Boston.
NB standards look to be a bit lighter and they’ve already released pictures of the bag so anticipate NB to be the more attractive meet for the masses. However, NSAF may still grab more star power.

they've got that facility in boston, but nats are still at the armory. honestly, i'd be more likely to go if it was in boston. New YOrk city just isn't fun to navigate.
Tough decision, you can't go wrong with either. I haven't looked at the standards or schedule but I'd choose the meet based on the people running it.
For me it's Tim Vs Laura and Lou. As a NYer I've dealt with each of them and I've always had better experiences with Lou. I'd go to Ocean Breeze but I would be commuting.
If you need to consider staying overnight and other factors start reaching out to both and see who's more helpful.
And a week later there is the Adidas National Championship in Virginia. This is ridiculous. It’s like the old days when Nike had the Indoor meet the same weekend as the NSAF Nationals and was flying kids from one t the other. All of this is such a greedy money grab for the organizers disguised as a “for the athletes” event.
Just wanted to keep this on the radar as kids are going to be deciding soon. How about youindicate your seeding time and which one you plan to attend?
