Seth will be targeting a 2:17:30 marathon in Rotterdam April 10th to secure a spot on the line of the Olympic trials. A 2:17:30 would be a 42 minute improvement from his last marathon in NYC.

Jared Ward has five kids and is getting slower. Will the same thing happen to Seth as he and True love have a bun in the oven to make five?
Why they want 5 kids what the hell, isnt 2 enough?
Gimme a break.
cool I mean, anything's possible, I guess.
Good math lol

I believe that he and his wife are devout Catholics, so Seth is sticking to his beliefs, I guess... Hopefully, he also sticks to a plan that doesn't involve frying himself in training. Kudos to him for presumably making enough of a living through Youtube to support this growing family.
Based on the McMillan Calculator, Seth’s Naples Half Marathon of 1:05:44 equates to a 2:18:20 marathon. A 2:17:30 may be realistic.

Seriously, I can't deal with the guys that keep saying Seth is a 3 hour marathoner. In the 2 races that he prioritized in 2021, he ran 1:05:44 and won Pikes Peak. A pretty good year. He is obviously fitter than the guy that crashed and burned his way to a 2:23 marathon in 2019.
That vlog was painful to watch. The cringeworthy moment just past the 6:00 mark shows me that the man has the same understanding of exercise physiology as the average Runner's World magazine reader. He needs to get a real coach or this attempt is also going to end in failure.
DGR fan boys can spare us the usual rebuttals. Your boy has no clue and that is glaringly apparent. If you want to help him, implore him to hire a knowledgeable coach.
Here is a wrinkle. Is it possible Seth threw the NY marathon, putting in for half then faking the back end issue in order to create a better narrative when he runs a much better time in Rotterdam? Imagine all the old running guy stans melting their wads of butter over the epic comeback!

"Once you get past the 2 hour mark in the marathon you have to deal with lactic acid"
No Seth, you really don't.
Seth is a simp.
Does his Amsterdam marathon on 20 October 2019 (2:23:37) help his chances any?

Even with his last time.. he won't make it. He is a train wreck.
1. I was faster than Seth in high school.
2. I was faster than Seth at CU, and made the team as a walk-on my freshman year.
3. I was faster than Seth after college, in prehistoric shoes, during an era that nobody, such as nobodies such as myself would put ourselves online for whatever reason.
4. There's absolutely zero chance Seth runs 2:17.30.
Who is Seth Demoor?
Doesn't he realize that a fifth child will revoke his Real Man status?
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
