Just wear the biggest dildo you can find on a belt with a lanyard. No one will come anywhere near you.

I will say even a .22 LR rimfire pistol like the SR22 is better than nothing. If you see a perp and he is coming after you but you have the .22 LR that might not be perfect but if you can get a good knee shot or something that causes tumble velocity it will be *good enough*.
You don't need to kill, you need to just stop the target.
People underestimate the .22 LR.
Also, in terms of running fast--having that speed helped DeNiro track the criminals in the movie HEAT, after the bank robbery. He did enough to keep up running and keeping them in sight.

I have a CCW in the state of Ohio. If I could post a pic I would.
I like the Desert Eagle. Just small enough to fit in my waistband yet powerful enough to take out that occasional pesky polar bear.

If you truly did then you would never suggest a knee shot.
Center mass first, I stand corrected on that BUT the knee shot is effective if you can't get center mass. It is how the '97 LAPD SWAT took down the one bank robber (of the two) who robbed the BOA building and held off police for a few hours.

I had to use my CC while running in the desert with my dog. I came across a snake that posed a danger to my family, and I quickly and efficiently dispatched the threat with my weapon. Crisis averted.

Good for you. Sometimes it takes a strong patriot to put an end to the liberal BS, take a stand and draw your weapon. It's time to take back the streets as runners and for our families. The blatant cheating, the dope, and some are even smoking marijuana. Super shoes, my gun, and a hat.

Sorry I had to go handle some important business. But like I was saying, proper running attire is not complete without personal protection. Not only for you, it is your responsibility to protect yourself and loved ones with a handgun and proper training.
Ruger .380 lcp
Small and nice.
Who is going to fire a gun in a campground? What about the other campers? Sheesh. Get bear spray. The bear doesn't want you anyway. If it did you should sleep in the canister.
You could tow round a Phalanx CIWS. That would cover all eventualities.
M240 or a PKM. Both if possible. Great to scare off the annoying cyclists, ebike ghouls and other sundry assortment of non-runner types.
