Can’t vouch for the girls, but 5 boys under 15 on the course is incredible. 15:10 to qualify, faster than many eventual olympians and footlocker champions. All top 25 all time.

Not super impressed.
We just saw 4 guys from the same HS team run under 15:00 on a 5k course.
Several more girls under 17:00 under the same 5k course.
These regional times aren't very impressive.
If you look at speed ratings on tullyrunners it’s much better than other years. Still good performances though
It was 30 degrees and snowing on a rough course. California states was 60s and sunny. Fir perspective ritz went all out and only did a 14:35 here.

8, not 10 qualify, so 15:01.7 made it.
Eastbay switched it back to 10. They forgot to have a big public release about the update. But one of the qualifiers dads posted the qualifiers at the race.
10 qualify
With Nike not hosting a national championship meet, it should not surprise anyone that Eastbay ended up being really deep. Anyone with a chance of nationals had no reason to run at a Nike regional and every reason to run at Eastbay.
