Why do all these people watch his vlog to see about his family life?

It's like a dumpster fire... can't look away.
Was he ever fast or competitive? Maybe he was in local races? He’s 2:23:40 PR doesn’t buy him much, only 32nd place and women beat him.

Competitive on the trail scene. 2:23 is nothing to scuff at.... but he is definitely heading downhill. No pun intended.
Agreed!

They’re ultra evangelical. All intercourse is for procreation.
when you quit drinking, you find yourself walking past the bar you used to frequent, wondering how you used to waste so much time in there. I checked Seth's feed for the last few weeks today:
-he "discovered" a 75 year-old footwear brand that's already famous.
-3 videos about how his favorite shoes look
-2 posts about his next race
-this baby announcement
-1 post about how his kids actually do know who he is
I don't understand why anyone thinks this is worthwhile content.

I like the way you used an analogy to excuse and soften that fact that you must always watch his videos and keep up to date on what he is doing all the time.

Your reading comprehension sucks. I clearly said I haven't seen his feed in weeks and just looked to see if he'd posted anything worthwhile.
But hey - you go on defending the guy who's such an expert in running he never heard of a company that sponsored Stefano Baldini, Edwin moses and Sebastian Coe.
http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-pHiHngy5-4M/TqkucT1HhYI/AAAAAAAAAEE/5LHT_P-HmnU/s320/6.jpgI wouldn't know anything about any shoe he endorsed because i did not watch the video.. You are the one that watches his videos and rushes over to comment on how dumb they are. I simply comment on how dumb people are that consume a product that they hate. Pretty simple stuff.

Nothing pathetic about watching seth demoor threads to tell posters they are pathetic for watching seth demoor. Nothing at all.

I didn't watch it. I saw a thumbnail of a Diadora shoe with the title "Running Shoe Company never seen before." That' enough.
But I mean, you're sitting here all day, staring at the messageboard, waiting to defend a guy whose videos you don't even watch? That's even more pathetic than Seth.
At this point, is his wife just having more kids to get him to stop running?

Might be why she's showing up in the videos more often. she's trying to take over.
btw Seth what is up with you on strava today? https://www.strava.com/activities/6326214242
Grateful for fitness dip
❤️ those who spread hate, they’re hurting.
Allow this "hater" to explain the toxic positivity coursing through this post:
* You could have just ignored whatever trolls you are indirectly addressing. But you chose to engage. Indirectly and publicly.
* You will not explain who you are even talking to, because speaking to someone directly about negative feedback or emotions is verboten on positive-vibes-only island. But you clearly still want the target to receive the message.
* You try to conceal your attempt to throw shade by wrapping it in a dishonest message of "I love my haters, they're hurting".
* You make an unprompted post about being grateful for temporarily losing fitness. There is a huge difference between acceptance and gratitude, but toxic positivity is about enforcing positivity on all things.
Your supporters will see this as you staying above it all, and spreading love. But a more impartial observer might notice this is a self-conscious, unprompted post. The haters truly shouldn't matter to you - Runners World doesn't expect elite athletes to read it, and it doesn't go to twitter to send love to its haters. It just focuses on the stable of hobbyjoggers who send it money every month. Doing otherwise would be...idk...initiating some negative vibes.

This is Lets Run gold right here.
And I acknowledge that I'm pathetic for being here reading all of this along with all of you. It is what it is.
This is Seth's dichotomy, and why he's so phony.
He loves taking shots at his "haters" on social media - on Twiter, Strava, etc. But he never aknowledges them on his actual platforms, because he doesn't want his cult to know they exist. He's got an information vacuum on Discord, YouTube and Facebook where all his followers think everything is perfect and he's the guru. But he doesn't actually engage with them much; he just watches to make sure they're all being positive all the time.
Meanwhile, he's obsessed with anyone who's negative about him, because he'a afrain it will creep into his Truman Show world, and his fans will start to see hrough him.
I watched a few minutes of his vlog from today. Coe, Aouita, and Bordin wore Diadora in the 80s, and everyone on earth knows how to pronounce it, but I won't go there.
What I did notice, though, is that he's probably 5 pounds heavier than during his awesome 3-hour NYC marathon run, with that new kid on the way. Springtime will be a hoot for this tool.
It's odd to focus on the very limited haters among a sea of butter my breads and DGR strong's (whatever that means).
Did a barb hit a little too close to home for Seth?
