Police found human remains in the swamp next to all his stuff. Police never stopped looking in that area despite jokes like Dog The Bounty Hunter who said he was 1,000 's of miles a way and he was closing in on him or fools saying he was in Mexico. John Walsh said he had credible evidence he was in South America. What a joke!
I won't believe it's his body until there's good DNA-based evidence.
The remains could be someone else's....apparently his parents led investigators to these remains which is sus af.

His parents knew exactly where to look. The FBI said that area had been searched but it had been underwater for quite some time. It could be someone else's body with "evidence" recently (the kid's backpack) left at the spot.
Also, yesterday his parents went on an hours long shopping trip and picked up a large Fedex package marked "Value Meal Kit".

The notebook seems to have remained dry even though the site had been underwater, according to the FBI. Was it in a Zip bag?
The confirmed sighting could well be Laundrie. The story that his parents just found him one very short search, close to the park entrance, is full of holes.

"Pathologist Dr. Michael Baden [said] it is likely the FBI already know that the remains are Brian’s, and that they would have been able to confirm it immediately, but are waiting for more examination to determine the cause of death.
‘Dental is 99.9 percent immediately accurate. They know it’s him. But the cause of death might still take a while to determine. The cause of death has to be determined at autopsy, which probably won’t be performed till tomorrow or the next day,’
This is incompetent. They closed the park off for a month. And within a day of them re-opening it, he and his things are found.

The DNA will determine whether it's him or not. His stuff was found nearby so it's most likely him. How would the parents know the exact place died? He probably died days ago so if they knew, what would they gain by waiting to tell the police?

When the story first broke today the news reported 4-5 corpses were also found. Anyone else here or read this?

You all assume he did it but what if it was the same strangler that killed the woman? Might have tied him up, drove him to the swamp and made it look like a suicide, or fed him to a snake.
A snake's stomach acid is so powerful it dissolves bone. There is hair and DNA left over, but virtually impossible to ID a cause of death other than snake.
