Violence of any kind is a terrible act. I think of these lyrics at this moment in time

Nice.

One of my favourites. I'm utterly crushed. Violence against women, and domestic violence in general, is still a serious issue in Kenya. RIP . Condolences to her friends and family.

Oh man, this sucks. Really sad news.
So Sad. RIP.
Husband, who happens to be a cop, is missing and probably on the lam because he's turned off his electronic devices. Neighbours say they were fighting last night.

Sad, tragic news. In a way, in spite of her XC world title, it feels like she never really had her day on the track given how fast she was—often being overshadowed by Obiri—but she was consistently one of the 10 or so best female distance runners in the world, make no mistake. Hopefully justice will be served in her name. Condolences to those who knew her.

What a loss, esp to her family. Gone at 25.

Very sad news. Her husband is a suspect. She was the youngest XC winner in a long time at 19 and won bronze in 2017 and 2019, as well as setting the women-only wr of 30:01 10km recently. Still only 25 and looked it.
Devastating news. What a loss to her family, friends, and fans of athletics all around the world.
I am so sad. How horrible. My deepest condolences to her family. What a tragic loss.
I’m a D2 female runner. Our coach explicitly told us not to visit LetsRun forums.
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
