Yeah except how many cases were in Taiwan? China could take Taiwan any day of the week without a bioweapon. Eventually Taiwan's economy will lose out to the bigger brother and they will assimilate themselves without much fuss.
You need to think globally and strategically, not tactically. The World is in a much different place than it was two years ago, and is in no position, particularly the U.S., to have the appetite to oppose Chinese aggression against Taiwan. Once a few Hunter Biden originals are on display in the Great Hall of the People, China will be all set to go.
