Today's young comics seem to be massively untalented. High on this list is Pete Davidson.
Unwatchable is the best word to use with most of SNL cast.

Thank you for your feedback
If annoyingly unfunny bothers you, why are you watching SNL?
The name change office skits he wrote were pretty good. But yeah, it's like Norm Macdonald said, "either I've gotten funnier, or the show sucks".
At least you notice Davidson. The male cast members of that show (of which there are way too many) are so blandly generic they leave absolutely no impression at all.
Don't watch SNL, however YouTube will occasionally display clips from the past weekend's show and like a dummy I will click on the bait. I'm always surprised how awful these attempts at humor are.
He has mental issues and hence is untouchable.
Every year he says himself he can't believe he is still there.
But then again, Kyle Mooney is also still there. That is unbelievable.
If you don't like it, why do you watch enough to know that you don't like Pete? I think that he's pretty funny. Have seen his stand-up. Would go again.
Norm MacDonald was a funny guy. He did some good impressions on SNL and wrote some good jokes for Weekend Update. But SNL hit rock bottom back in the mid 1990s. It was so bad that they actually made fun of their formulaic sketches with Fred Wolf breaking the fourth wall in a sketch to tell the audience that what makes the sketch funny is how the main joke is taken through different variations. As much as SNL has had some highs and lows in the past few years, nothing compares with how bad the show got between the Dana Carey years and the Will Farrell lead cast. The only thing that kept SNL alive back then was the ability of Lorne Michaels to spin the better cast members out into money making, but pretty dumb and marginally funny, summer movies.
Comedy is an ongoing process. We all laughed hardest when we were young and carefree. I started watching SNL in the late 1970s. For many years, I would be an original cast snob claiming that each subsequent cast was inferior. But in the 1980s, SNL episodes from the 70s went into syndication. I watched a bunch of the old episodes on the UHF dial. There were certainly some very funny skits from the original cast, but there were also a lot of skits that were pretty weak and did not hold up well at all. The same process has carried on each time a season gets into a good groove and turns out some good stuff. The mid 90s were horrible. But the 2000s were really good with Will Ferrell, Armisen, Fey, Poehler, etc.. Then, there was another big transition in 2015 to the current cast. The season opener this year was actually pretty funny. And there are some really talented new cast members. James Austin Johnson has the best Trump impression ever. And the process continues. Letting yourself ossify with the comedy of your youth being the end all is just a way to become a boomer.

You kidding, tell me you didn't laugh at this one.
https://youtu.be/5IZrYeUX3MII'm not that familiar with Davidson's work, but considering how low-wit and bereft of humor the OP's posts are, I take it as a good sign for Pete.
That sketch is funny, but Kyle Mooney lip synching to the Rock's voice is not impressive.
Here is a very funny sketch with Pete Davidson and The Rock:
the worse thing Pete Davidson did is make Dan Crenshaw famous.

The Rock is the best host and makes everyone funnier.
Mooney did have a good sketch about a YouTube pranks show.
Considering a large number of LRC’ers share many of the mod’s afflictions especially lacking in a sense of humor, I take this as a validation of my point.
Somehow this guy managed to have a bunch of sex with Arianna Grande.

Ok boomer
Good comedy knows no age barrier.
Repeating worn out Internet memes is a sure sign of unoriginal and limited comic brain functioning.
