There’s nothing more unattractive than a man putting down other men online anonymously

It is ironic because 5'10'' and 130lbs would be ideal for a runner so the first part of their reply is more like a compliment. Forget about the rest of the reply.

Everybody who announces "I’m tall and handsome" is insecure and has feminine tendencies.

There are PLENTY of things that are more unattractive.

5'10 130 is too skinny....5'10 maybe 145 would be ideal. Some of you clearly do not has a clue about running.

I see that you are butt hurt at being suspected to be short and lightweight, but what’s with the casual injection of sexism?

FWIW, your example’s probably got little to do with anonymity. If you were sitting in a park with your buddies (circle jerking or whatever), and you casually said “I’m tall and handsome”, everyone would roast you for it. Either that or silently think you are conceited. It’s just our social etiquette that we don’t call ourselves good looking and leave that assessment to others.

It took me a second to parse that too, but I think he’s asking why you, being essentially one of many anonymous men on here, care how attractive others find you. You clearly were outraged enough to start a new thread to complain.

As for your message in bold, it’s noble and well intended, but the online world isn’t ideal and can be quite a cesspool. But in this case, the bros were not hostile or hateful, but more like hazing you for that one sentence (“am tall and handsome”) that made you sound preppy.
