Yawn. A private organization made a rule and one of its employees failed to follow it. If he doesn’t like it he can find another job. Next
Was it a private organization that made the rule or was it the City of San Francisco? I believe NYC has that same rule and that Knicks and Nets players will need to be vaccinated to play their home games. Visiting players do not have to be vaccinated to play in NYC or San Francisco. At this point Wiggins can play in NYC and Kyrie Irving can play in San Francisco but they can not play in their own cities.
This is correct and it just shows how inconsistent these policies are. Allowing unvaxxed visiting players to play in those cities is like allowing unvaxxed people visiting NYC or SF to eat in a restaurant but the not people living there.
As far as I know Wiggins can still practice with the team in their facilities in the Chase Center he just can't get into the building for a game there. And I assume everyone that works at the arena or in any restaurant, bar, gym, etc. in SF must also be vaccinated, and the same in NYC.
