Yo buy Litecoin i just bought over 200 litecoin and it's like 200 bucks a coin right now. It has immense potential. The coins that make it longterm will get people rich. Many other coins such as Doge will go to zero. But you can still make money buying and selling Doge at the right time.
Litecoin - you mean the Litecoin that lost 18% of its value this week?
Oh, shhhhhure, Mister!

No, it's called buying what the dip says buddy.
Like you're smart enough to predict the impossible yet just so prefer to waste your and our time on a running messageboard with some preposterous name and story.
Yeah, shhhhhhure, Mister!
The media is lying as usual, implying that all protestors are anti vaxxers, when in fact, many are vaccinated. These protestors are merely standing up for peoples rights and freedoms.

Nice.
Who in their right mind would believe a thing you say or claim, when you can't even respond with a post on the right thread.
Good job, buddy. Maybe head up stairs and see what mom made for dinner.
ROFL.

when I say rich, I do mean rich. Best guesses for the three friends are $5 million in profits, $30 million and close to $100 million, respectively. I know this because I've actually seen their brokerage accounts and have had discussions about their crypto holdings.
On the other hand, I am relatively poor (150k net worth and biking for Ubereats to make ends meet). I find myself growing distant from them, we have less in common, they probably feel the same about me. I can't afford to do the things they suddenly want to do.
I also feel a mixture of emotions, mostly sadness for myself for missing investment opportunities, some jealousy towards them, a little bit of anger.
I should talk to a therapist about this but I thought asking anonymous runners their thoughts would be a good first step.
1 - Friendships rarely last forever. People drift apart for all sorts of reasons, good and bad. If these are genuinely good people to have in your life, try to maintain the friendship. It may end anyway, but it'd be silly to kill it just because they have more money than you. OTOH, if they're just guys that you happen to hang out with, and now it's unpleasant to hang out with them...the friendship has probably run its course.
2 - Not every bet that pays off is a smart bet. It stings to consciously pass on something and then have your face rubbed in it, but it happens, and it doesn't necessarily mean that you played it wrong (but you might have). Every day there are stocks that jump up or down 30, 40, 50% on the open. In a sense those are all missed investment opportunities, but chasing them is generally not a great idea. If someone gets it right, good for them.
3 - BTW did you start your new "real" job?
Lol - “crypto holdings”
Yeah me too. My friends left me and made about 15 mill each in crypto. I think litecoin. Saw the accounts. Go buy today if you want in to.
I’m so depressed I didn’t...
You have advice for me? Help

Are your PRs better than theirs? Money isn't everything. It definitely can make life easier and less stressful, but there are plenty of very happy people that are not rich and extreme wealth can complicate someones life.
My advice is unfortunately to probably finds new friends for a while until your feelings of anger and jealousy go away. Once you have matured a bit and have your own life in order with things to be proud of then you can reach back out to them.
Good luck to you!

Right now it's just a number in a account.
Not entirely true anymore. More and more vendors accept crypto. Not at the local day to day level yet, but it's coming.
Sorry to disappoint the doubters, the haters and the jealous people, but bitcoin is here to stay.

+1... this crap is everywhere.
And so are tulips!
Friends come and go. Don't make the mistake of staying with past friends because they were your friends in the past. People change and with their activitities.

Tulips didn't create tens of thousands of millionaires. You can talk amongst your crypto hating peers to feel better about yourselves, saying things such as people got "lucky" and crypto is "stupid" and must be a "ponzi scheme." It's hard to believe in something you clearly don't understand.

The emotion you feel is jealousy! That’s on you not them.
