I have a nerve injury that has been a chronic injury. That has made it very hard to control my leg somedays. I have been working with a chiropractor to work on issues with it. Should l be doing light running or stretching? There is not any pain just a dull feeling somedays and an inability to control my legs. On line they say to do some excercises, but somedays it feels like running 30 minutes makes it worse. Any advice?
You should see a PT not a chiropractor if you actually want to get better. Stretching will help, as long as it's not a position that tensions the nerve, in which case you'll be making it worse. Running and other activities it depends what is causing the nerve compression, chiropractors are not educated on how to diagnose and treat that so I would recommend a talk with an actual medical professional.

I agree, avoid Chiropracters like the plague, they are charlatans and may make things worse. I caught one out once when trying to fudge tests he was doing on me to show me what was wrong.
I'd probably say light running is ok until you get to see a PT, but stop if there is pain that doesn't ease off.
I have quite a few chiropractor stories and none reflect well on that "profession." I'll share one story--had a runner experiencing pain and I was talking with his mother about his pain. She said that she had been taking him to a chiropractor all summer for "adjustments" with no change in the pain. I suggested an orthopedic surgeon. She took her son to the doc I recommended and, within minutes, found out her son had one leg longer than the other. Custom orthotic and the runner was pain free a week later. Go see a PT.
