To add to this just look at the cases and deaths in NY vs FL since vaccines were rolled out and available to most of the population (~June). You will see a steady death rate in NY (8-17 7 day averages) and a HUGE increase in FL. There is a reason you want to exclude the March 2020-June 2021 period when discussing vaccines.
The death rates in NY early on were due to poor planning and population density.
I find it hard to understand how people can't see this simple and very clear relationship between low vaccination and hospitalizations. I also can't understand how they can't see the instances over hospitals being overwhelmed with Covid patients.
I believe some will never see it.
