Nice little “Harry & Meghan “ round two interview about made up issues.

it was pathetic
Once she said the pressure was heavier was because she was a female athlete I tuned out.
GOATs legacies are not just medals and performances, its more than that. Its why Kevin Durant is a 2 time FInals MVP but the entire league and every fan knows he's a big time p*ssy
sad
She's been hit way too hard, but this crap kind of justifies it. She is completely buying into this brave hero angle. yuck.
Happy TUEsday, Simone Biles! Way to advocate for athletes who need gray area chemical assistant to dominate the competition…
Simone Biles is so tediously egotistical.

I'm starting to like the tenor of this thread. Kick'm when they're down. Kick them all around. Don't stop 'til you grind their bones into the ground, with salt all around. Good job guys. I'm sure your Grannies are very proud of you.
The real heroes are the Biles critics. Thank you for reminding us all that--no matter how many medals and championships you win, no matter if you overcome the team doctor abusing you--you still must please the message board champions and their Neanderthal views.

You might be justified in your sentiment if Biles had just accepted her medal, packed her bags, and quietly left the stage for home. But nope, she did decided to do another interview shown around the world, dropped the O'bomb in doing so, and basically made sure all of the attention remained on her. Put yourself in the public eye, expect to get poked in the eye by the public.
Djokovic quit at the Olympics (and he had a meltdown and smashed his racket). Some say he is the GOAT. I must have missed the threads on him on here. I wonder why no one seems interested in this on here.

It would have been refreshing if she admitted that she screwed up and just went home without making a big deal. Now she makes it seem like losing and talking about losing is more important than winning. Wtf?!! This is her job. In the real world chokers don't really get applause for failure.
Quitting as courageous will be the new liberal meme.
nobody cares about Djokovic in the US. no fans. no detractors.
maybe there is a tennis message board where he is getting skewered. Or perhaps an off topic message board in his own country.

Yes, I suppose you're right. It's another case of "what have you done for us lately."
Tell us when exactly did you start sharpening the eye poking stick? Before or after she withdrew or during/after her latest tv interview?

Why not? Guys who quit get a pass, but when a woman 'quits' it's an international crisis? Why is that? How come we didn't hear more about the meltdown from the guy many would say is the GOAT of tennis.?

The main difference being that Djokovic did not quit because of the pressure. He lost and raged. Simone didn't even try. Djokovic said he was injured. Maybe he is. Simone tried to pass off an injury, got called out on it, blamed anyone she could think of, and now is claiming her aunt died during the Olympics. It's getting embarrassing and she let her team and her country down.

Exactly. (And I do not like players who yell and break racquets. I prefer the great sportsmen like Nadal who lose gracefully.)

How many people really care about Simone Biles? I have not seen any of the interviews with her nor any of the women's gymnastics. It just doesn't interest me.
All I know from headlines is that she withdrew for some reason and then she was back in. But I've also avoided watching any of NBC's primetime coverage.
I have enjoyed watching sports I didn't really know much about like badminton, trampoline and wrestling. These athletes are highly skilled and train for years in obscurity and just show up and compete, probably without any sponsorship. It seems like it's just for love of their sport. To me, this is what makes the Olympics special, not the overblown headlines.
I just don't understand why so many here are so obsessed and emotional about Bile's failures. It's as if she personally offended them. And what's interesting to me is that is seems like all the people criticizing her are men. Why is that?
Lol mental health issues are “made up”
Letsrun is a culmination of the least intelligent people I’ve ever seen converse. You guys are stupider than stupid. It’s hard to witness.
