Mboma to medal was the easiest bet of all time.
I think we'll see ETH and Mboma @ 1-2. Not sure on 3rd.
Told you :)

21.53 from ETH!!!! wow
Looks like Mboma came up for silver.
couldn't tell bronze
21.53! She's putting up Flojo times...
Also Mboma wtf, such a horrible start but definitely the fastest top end speed of the field as she makes up like a 5 or more meter gap on Fraser-Price and Thomas to get silver wut?

HA Gabbi for third over SAFP!
Start reaction times preceding the final result.
Mboma 2nd! Good job, guy!

Fraser- Pryce - outside the medals! crying for Jamaica.
Nilsen has one final attempt at 6.02 but it ain't looking good for him.
I hope Duplantis gives it a legitimate shot at the WR, though given all of the emotion that comes with Olympic gold I wouldn't be surprised if he settles for the gold.
But a WR at the Olympics is absolute immortality. I hope he goes for it.
Namibia the new Jamaica?
What intrigues me about Namibia if they have sprinters and long-distance runners, so they seem to have a mix of fast twitch fibers and slow twitch fibers - interesting genetic mix.
You see the same phenomenon in South Africa.
Nilsen out at 6.02, Duplantis Gold, Nilsen Silver, Braz Bronze
When are they going to ban Mboma. This sh!t is ridiculous. 22.67 to 21.81 in a month.
When are they going to do something about it? When the record is at 20.70?
Fantastic for Nilsen - good for him.
He's attempting 6.19

Peacock just cut off the stream -- are they not showing Duplantis' WR attempt???
Nilsen did an excellent job with Kendricks out. Mondo's 6.02 clearance looked closer to 6,25.
Here is the Vault stream

+1
Mboma had the fastest top speed last 100 at 35 km/h
Nice closeup of Thompson's abandoned Nikes on the track.
