Rojas would have gotten a world record there if she didn't foul that jump

Rojas just jumped well over the WR! but it was a foul... Hope that was measured, wonder if they have the protocol for that
So gutted for Amos.
That was insane. Idk who’s fault it is but feel for both. They would have been very in it at the end
Jewett and Amos finish in 2:38. More Kenyan taunting by Rotich.

Jewett causes the fall, ran into the foot of the runner in front of him. Sunglasses didn't help.
No Amos, No Giles, No Bosse. Murphy has a great chance to get a medal at least.
Rotich looks like the favorite. He looked great

I also saw it like that Jewett caused it. Is there a chance for Amos to get into the final then?
jewett is going to be very tough for years and years to come. i had sort of written him off as a very talented guy that only knew how to lead in the style of some of the other great national-level US 800 runners that could never make it on the world stage because of tactics. but he ran relaxed and smart through 400 and i think he was on his way to winning or getting 2nd in that heat. excited to watch him in eugene next year
Looks like Giles lowkey zoned out after the fall. Didn’t look like he was trying
Amos out! Clayton looking even better than 2016…

Rotich looks INSANE. 1:43 and now 1:44, if he has something left his shape seems surperior.

definitely should be favored but i hope korir wins
Incidental contact. Neither will advance, of course Americans usually think it's the other guy's fault.
holy cow, SBT 9.83?? What was the wind?

Huh?
Why can't they just show a slow replay to determine what the f happened?
Someone need to tell the clueless female announcer that South Korea isn’t part of Japan. She states that it is an advantage for the SK HJ finalist to compete at home.

Look to me like Jewett ran up into the spiked foot of the guy in front of him, which slammed his right leg down onto the track and caused him to fall.
