Officially the fastest Mo at both distances now. Katir > Farah!
Wrong. Mo Ahmed is the fastest Mo at 5k.

Katir takes 5 seconds off his PB in one race after coming out of nowhere this year... I find his 3:28 hard to believe.
Sam Parsons agrees. Is he saying what many runners on the circuit are thinking?

Have you guys ever run a long race on the track? With 800 or 400 to go you can barely think straight... if you hearthe bell that will 100% override any internal counting you have going on.
Hats off to Kigen for finishing. He could have easily said F it and had a good case that there was no good reason to believe the second bell over the first.
That broke my heart seeing the look on his face. That bell-ringer needs to be castigated and dismissed. I wish the announcers would call out that human error more severely.
Race of the meet coming up. Come on Clayton!
Who is counting laps .....HELEN KELLER,RAY CHARLES......THATS just poor. Hope this is not the lap counter that was supposed to work in tokyo later this month. If he or she was, i believe they will b getting an email (make that an urgent one) stating that their lap counting services has been cancelled.
Amos back in business. AROP big Pb, mid 1:43.

The second pack running like complete cowards. Did they think a 49-second lap would break all 3 guys? Come on.
What’s up with Morris? I remember her being head and shoulders above Nageotte just a couple years ago. Did Nageotte improve a lot or is Morris having a rough phase?
Big statement by Amos.
Looks like the 'waiters' got it all wrong this time, poor showing from Giles Dobek and Murphy.
Well that would have been a good race for Murphy to 1:42, maybe a little hot through 400. Don't blame him for a 1:44.4 for 6th, I still think he's in the mix.
Also a great sign for Nijel Amos, his first 1:42 (honestly his first real race) since 2019.
Arop once again delivers his disappearing act in the last 100m. Fast tho

Plus two of those dudes are two of the fastest men of all time.
But Clayton couldn't even get it going in the second pack. I am so sad Donovan wasn't healthy this year.
They took him aside for a LONGGGG convo afterwards
