I knew about Baumens toothpaste. I forgot what drug it was probably 20 years ago.
The peak of Jerry's own running career so in the early 90s? So an anonymous person says that 30 years ago they had one conversation involving nandrolone with Jerry Schumacher?
Forgive me for not finding this to be overly compelling evidence. I don't remember half the junk I did fifteen years ago let alone 30.

Baumann WAS the fastest non African 5000m runner. A Norwegian has run faster!
Every national and world class distance runner from the 90s, which Jerry was, knows the Dieter Baumann nandrolone in the toothpaste story.
Baumann was the only white guy in the 5000m winning races, including Olympic gold and silver at 5000m. Then, his nandrolone bust sent shock waves around the distance running world.
For some reason this situation reminds me of the whole Mo Farah denying he was ever associated or even knew his uncle Jama Aden.

If Jerry Schumacher is dirty (he's absolutely not as it is simply not in his character), then the sport is dead.
A class act knows what nandrolone is.
Also, looking through the Shayna Jack hearing docs, it becomes a little more clear why Shelby is going with steak in her and her team's fun shell game. If she said she ordered pork on purpose, CAS probably wouldn't sympathize much, given the publicly available info about offal and nandrolone. So they're going with steak in order for her to have a chance at a reduction via this clause:
“No Fault or Negligence: The Athlete or other Person’s establishing that he or
she did not know or suspect, and could not reasonably have known or suspected
even with the exercise of utmost caution, that he or she had Used or been
administered the Prohibited Substance or Prohibited Method or otherwise

They have the receipt. There’re no next-level tactics there. I’m 99% sure that if she ordered a pork and could prove that the pork at the food truck had nandrolone she’d be cleared. But she could not because she did not order pork and could not prove that even if she had it’d trigger a positive result.
