Whatever's going on with Tim, the chances that the Olympic final goes out super fast just went way down - thereby increasing Centro's chance at REPEAT GOLD

It's ok. He will go Daniel Komen this summer and break the 1500m and possibly another WR this summer. That would be more impressive for him at this point of his career.
Maybe he took the hint from Rafael Nadal.
That test dodger should have been banned for like just like steroid fuelled Shelby
Although to be bar fair she did this the fast food van was a Nandros!

And from Filip Ingebrigtsen.

For years you have been one of the most moronic posters on the boards.
You never dsappoint.
You are another of the idiots who look at doping only for explaining every result.
Timothy came from an hamstring injury, tried to run, but at the end the injury didn't allow him to increase the speed.
If AK didn't select him in the Team is because the hopes to recover a good shape in the period before the Games are very, very little.
But of course if you are an African, you can't have some injury : if run fast is because of doping, if you can't run fast is because NO doping.
What a group of idiots...
I wonder if his odd form led to the hamstring problem.

Thank you for the insight, we didn't know Tim was injured. When did he pick up his injury?
Also maybe by any chance you would know who is coaching runners in Qatar? Musab, Driouch, Hassan, Al Garni, Haraine...

Didn’t realize Timothy was injured. That explains the downturn in form. It’s a shame that he won’t be at the Olympics. I was really looking forward to the Cheryiout-Ingebrigtsen duel.

What about that kid that got Asics as a dedicated shoewear sponsor only to get busted running nikes in the first race?
Thanks for the insight Canova.
If that's true, it seems harsh to leave him out on the basis his injury won't heal in time. I mean he literally finished just behind Kipsang, and there are still over 6 weeks until the Tokyo 1500m.
Looks like there is a real chance Kenya won't medal in the men's middle-distance for the first time since 1984?
Both the 800 and 1500 selections don't appear to contain any gold threats for sure, or real unknown quantities.
I thought Kinyamel was a serious threat in the 800m. I don't know where he came today, the first 3 were quite clear of the rest.

Good news for Jakob!
Good news for the kickers. Now Jakob must take the lead early? Tactically complicated for Jakob.

Oh come on.
Nandros is pretty funny.

Does he have any training partners anymore?
Weren't they all busted for doping?
People don't suspect him cause he's African, it's because he's super sketchy.
Hilarious that even after all that he's failed to qualify. Karma.

Bravo.
Changes the whole event, the gold medal is now in play. Jakob won't front run and even though he's the best in the field, he can be out-kicked (e.g. Kiplimo in the 3k last year). It's gone from a likely sub-3:30 final to something between 3:32 and 3:38. The Americans, Brits, and Oli Hoare can't believe their luck right now

Good one less doper in Tokyo.
Amd Renato, you're the same guy that said Kenyans don't dope. Then you changed your story several times as they kept getting busted. You changed it to top Kenyans don't dope and it doesn't benefit them. Then you bit your tongue as they got busted. You're probably profiting off of doping runners and that's why you deny doping as a doping apologist. You know damn well the substantial benefits physically and financially of doping. Your act is pathetic.
I found the video of the race. He doesn't look majorly injured. Leads up until the bell and then gets beaten at the end .

Unless he asked to be left off the team or something, this might be one of the dumbest decisions by a federation ever.

Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
