what do we have control over? Our own national vaccination supply and adherence rates. What do we have almost no control over? Other country's vaccination supply and adherence rates. Of course, we could do more to help out with the global vaccination supply.
My point, however, is that if the thing that is most in our control is to GET THE DAMN VACCINE if it's available, then if some of us forego that as a petty political act then those people not only prolonging COVID restrictions but also sickness and death.
There are many people out there who refuse to get it because of health concerns. To ignore their arguments is to not understand the whole issue of vaccination. Control is the key word.
But I can actually see some validity to your statement that some refuse it because of politics. That blame however falls with the government and media. You would have thought by now they would understand that government mandates or heavy government pressure to comply with anything often leads to resistance.
