Basically called out Rojo as stupid with his trolling about shoes

Teare and Grijalva have been going at it since high school. This was their very last race as high schoolers. It's cool to see their progress.

I see Brodey Hasty there in that pic. He’s still doing well, and really came through for NAU at the XC national meet, but some of the big dogs from that class of 2018 never really lived up to billing. I’m thinking primarily of Hasty & Horter. I think Horter won the Brooks mile that year and he really hasn’t done anything since. He was faster in high school.
congrats,
hocker took one for the team, getting points
great coverage letsrun
we got it good as track fans.
what more do you want?
mcchesney, record gone, met bill, great guy, as opposed to al sal with his nose in the air, ahole
Great job cooper tires

LMAO. Casey Clinger is right next to Teare in that photo. Has Casey lived up to the hype? Top 15 in XC isn’t bad… and some good track times… but I remember some people saying he was gonna be better than Mantz this year. Just kinda interesting to think about.

They also don't like that the current team is better than any Oregon team in history and it is not very close. From 800 to 1500 to 5k, the team is ridiculous.
Indoor 800 champ
Indoor Mile champ
Indoor 3k champ and runner up
Outdoor 1500 champ
Outdoor 5000 champ and 4th
Your move, Oregon teams past.

How sad of a person do you have to be to ask about “super” spikes in that situation. Coop handled the question very well.
Thank for the hard hitting journalism rojo 🥱😴

Meh. The super shoes give you at least 20s, so he really ran 13:32. Not that great.
How good is the 2nd place finisher then?
Does Kiotoo understand anything other than going hard from the gun? Does his coach not care about him and just ate yeah Wes go out in 60 again.
I think Teare will run under 13:00 one day. But I don't think he'll ever break 12:55.

Rojo is a disgrace to the sport
Good, someone needs to
The sad thing was Teare's PR was already faster than Hunter's. Teare outkicked Hunter in December when they both ran 13:17.

13:21 in Bill McChesneys shoes. Still a win though and excellent performance.
Three 3,200m high school stars in California, Grijalva grinded his final 3,200m in 8:25.43; Teare in 8:25.83; and 8:32.95 for Brandt.

Correct, they also had Will Goeghegan. I think Parker Stinson too, but he might've graduated in '14.
Anyways, this hasn't been stated, but I believe that is an American Collegiate Record by Teare. Previous 13:15 by Ian Dobson of Stanford?
Lawi ran 13:08 indoors and Rono 13:08 outdoors. It is an American Collegiate Record.
I still think Lawi's 13:00 (the real college goat distance runner) should count as the record. Especially if we are keeping track of a record called the American Collegiate record.
If it came to a kick I wonder how Hocker would fare against Cheserek both in the same spikes in college
Four seconds not a little bit and Rono won by 40 seconds in a tri meet. Ran the first lap in 68 then went off on his own. Way better effort than this run though this was great.
