He has gone AWOL in the past. Then miraculously shows up at the olympics to roll.
Yeah, not suspicious at all. I don't get how this guy hasn't been busted yet.

The notorious northern Africans seem to get away with things. See Hicham El G

« Algerian Taoufik Makhloufi will prepare for the Olympic Games in Tokyo (July 23-August 8) in Mexico, the Algerian daily El Watan revealed on Thursday. Our colleague indicates that this is the first time that the 2012 Olympic champion in the 1500m has opted for this country, Makhloufi, 32, who is more used to preparing in South Africa or Ethiopia.
The daily specifies that the 2019 vice-world champion in the 1500m had not gone abroad since the discovery of drugs (not appearing on the list of prohibited products) in a bag belonging to him at Insep.«
This is the latest news I have about this guy but if you look on his Instagram account during the spring of March and April 2021 he was doing a lot of charity work with kids in Algeria and also doing charity medical work in Algeria also so he seems like a great guy.
Follow his trajectory here, it’s mostly in Arabic but you get the gist of what he’s doing. he seems like a great philanthropist, working with all kinds of impoverished kids in Algeria. Kudos to him.
He normally chose South Africa and Ethiopia as his training venues but this year decided to go to Mexico. He will be far from the drug testers in Mexico, but that is immaterial because he has sworn on the holy Koran that he is as clean as a whistle in the name of “Allah” - the great one above.
After a lot of fuss last fall when some medical products were found in one of his bags at the training center in Paris (INSEP), where he used to train, he was able to satisfy the Algerian athletic Federation authorities that there was nothing sinister about those physical enhancement products which were nothing more than vitamins according to him.
Wouldn’t be surprised if he makes a late appearance leading into the Olympics. He did the same in Rio. Very mischievous, amazing athlete. His workout on YouTube was insane.

Kenya, Ethiopia, and now Uganda are now the doping kings.

Accusation without proof is called "having a big mouth".
I hope that Mekhloufi keep turning your dreams to nightmare as was the case in 2012.
As for El G. he has an interview in Radio Mars (2019) where he say that his test samples were kept by the Australian Anti-Dopage Federation for 25 years.
Try to lean Arabic I will not translate that video for you.

Your parents must have been the doping kings to conceive a moron like you.
Ghost1, you're a dope apologist because you profit from dopers. You hope they dope so they can earn more money and pay you your pimp/agent/coach fee. Why don't you tell us what you know rather than act oblivious about doping?! You know a lot about it.
Is there an article that exonerates him for the INSEP incident? All we had was an article referring to an investigation.

Sadly, charity work does not always mean that you are a great guy. See Exhibit A:

Don’t let your common religion blind you in bias. I’d suggest you do some reading on Coach Kada.

Morocco and Algeria are on the WADA doping watch A list for good reason. They have such a culture of doping that even their second generation immigrants representing the likes of Spain or Belgium regularly get busted. If you think either El G or Big Mac was/is clean then you're insane. Yeah, wouldn't surprise me at all if Big Mac or some other new doper turns up in Tokyo and robs Jakob of gold, or someone like Jake Wightman of a medal, or Hobbs Kessler of a place in the final. Another nail in the coffin of the sport if it happens.

Always the western believing he is superior. I suggest you to drop to the ground because you dont have any idea of my religion.
Coach Kada was in the video I mentioned.
Most elite athletes are dopers,no matter what country they come from. They have to take drugs to be able to be competitive with others who are on them.Drug testing only catches a very small minority of the dopers.Makhloufi hasnt been caught but neither has a lot of others.

You can't compare North Africa to Chinese phenomenon of 90s (a story of a coach dopage that dured 5 to 6 years), because I can give trace of North African middle/long distance icon remounting to ... 1928.
And these was this Algerian (Alain Mimoun) which is considered as the most titled Olympic runners in the history of France (ask Zatopek about his subject, the "circumstantial" European champion Zatopek exactly )
Then we go to the Tunisian Gammoudi (you always forget this name, while you build statues for Prefontain) who built with kipchoge keino the starting myth of future African domination.
Then we go to Said Aouita and his multiple haters...
