such a handsome fellow
this is amazing
Oh my gawd.
HAHAHAHAHA
All righty well I am munching on a pile of chicken wings and shoestring fries... what's this now?
Oh lordy, lemme just move on to the donuts.
Omp omp omp
That was fantastic LOL
Meh. He doesn't have a screenplay.
he looked good in that 400m iah. hope i can run a 53 when i'm 40
I remember when he used to post here as Trackman400 or whatever it was...he was actually reasonably fast but it was clear he had an unorthodox lifestyle. I'm almost certain he was living in a warehouse that his dad owned, and I think they may have been in the junk food business in some manner.
Tip toes backwards and slowly closes the door...
Well, i thought it was kind of funny

It's not obvious what is more strange, Matt's antics, or someone taking the time to put that video together.
Runningart2004, your own persona here is also strange. You are the would be resident lifting expert, and people start threads to ask your advice, yet by your own admission of your numbers, you are interested in weight training, but certainly not accomplished.
Why did you start this thread? From what I gather, Matt would beat you over 400m.
I am by no means an expert in anything. I've said that before.
Accomplishing anything doesn't make you an expert. Have you seen THE Matt London's deadlift form? Yeeeesh! Education doesn't make you an expert. I know PhDs who wouldn't know the differences between a Barbell or a Dumbbell. They don't teach exercise execution and coaching and cueing in university settings.
I have a BS in Ex.Sci and base my opinions on research and the basics of strength programming, as well as my own experience as a wannabe has been runner and never was lifter :) I've written strength and conditioning programs for hundreds of people and coached dozens in small group settings and while that is not unique in and of itself it is unique in that someone with ANY education and experience with strength training as well as competitive running tries to crash his brain against the stone cold wall of dogma that is competitive running. Most y'all still trying to hop on the nautilus tryin to feel a burn, if you lift at all.
Literally any 1st year Ex.Sci student could give the guidance I give. I'm just here man. I don't know why people ask for my advice *shrug*
Anyway, Matt London could beat me in any race and any lifting competition. I could probably get him in anything longer than a mile based on muscle memory alone. And I could wreck him in an arm wrestling match....quick which arm is his bad one?
Matt London is hilarious and his awesomeness should be shared for the world to see.
So where was Matt London before Bodybuilding.com? The world must know the genesis of this psychosis.
LR is full of characters....this thread is simply a tribute and a call to action! We need to find THE Matt London's genesis!

Even by Alan Ray Tobin standards, this thread is amazingly homoerotic. As implied by his username, dude made for himself the goal of qualifying for the 2004 OT marathon. I doubt he came within 10 minutes. So he became a LRC "character" instead. Seeing this, I long for the days when he and Brian Erb puffed each other off.

I respect your reply.
I'm not sure what I said in what you quoted that got my post deleted?

I was thinking the exact same! He had me convinced he was the ultimate troll and then I looked up his youtube channel.
He’s for real.
Seeing that this thread is inviting the imms to delete posts I'll respond to my own post until this whole thing implodes.
Matt London's Deadlift Fix:
1. I have no issues with the straps or the hitch....you do you.
2. However, your hips are rising way early, likely to find the correct position to lift from, but this is causing your knees to dang near fully extend before you even get the bar to your knees. Add your hunched over back and you will add your lumbar to your elbow as far as injuries go.
Wear a belt. Helps to maintain intra-adominal pressure which will help keep your torso rigid. I don't see much breathing and bracing, Another issue.
Stop. Dancing. Around. You are basically doing what looks like a 2 rep max for 4 paused reps.
Get tight. Stay tight. Use the bar to pull your hips into it.
Hard to tell but your shin angle could be straighter. Sumo benefits from a vertical shin angle.
That's all.
Oh and I'm like Beetlejuice....say my full name 3 times in a row and it's SHOWTIME!!
Alan
Seriously why is this deranged pervert still allowed to post here?
