Saw this on Strava this morning... 5 miles @ 5:19 average starting at 6pm then a 10k in 32 flat starting at 7:30. Impressive stuff.

Always good to have an excuse lined up for running sub par time
You must be a real pleasure to spend time with. Christ.
Wow, I guess that’s marathon training for you.
Seidel has been logging some impressive mileage and workouts. I’m hoping it can translate into a breakout performance at the olympics
I have the same thoughts. She has been building a nice base.
I agree with you "highhoppingworm" some people post things on this site that they would never think of saying in public. These types of negative posts are what drive many away from this site and all the good information exchanged. A good rule of thumb to live by is to not post something that you would not be comfortable saying to someone's face or without being anonymous
It's possible this is fanboying I would call hitting a 10k PR after a tempo during a marathon buildup impressive.

Less than 50% chance she gets to the line at Tokyo healthy.
Is this a bad thing? She could play it safe and get 30th in the Olympics, or she can train hard and either get injured or have a really good showing. I hope she chose the latter.
Get over YOURSELF. Way to bring negative energy to thread. Who pissed in your cereal this morning?
Super impressive. Her 5 mile segment looks slightly faster than MP for her. The 10K is an honest half marathon pace effort for her.
Overall it's obvious her focus is on the Olympics and not some random early season 10,000. She's the fittest American marathoner we have right now. She's a legitimate world class talent.

The base is a triangle of deceit .
That's awesome! So that gives her about 6-7 more weeks of hard training and a taper and she'll be ready to rock and roll at the Olympics.
Any other workouts she's done lately? (too lazy to check Strava)
People like you should leave the site, because you're contributing nothing.

Molly is the next person that needs a YouTube channel. She probably doesn't have time with all the miles she puts in but she's just bursting with personality like Allie O and it would be fun to see more quality content from interesting and likeable people in the sport. If you read this Molly, after Tokyo... MollyTube!

It is impressive, but I think it’s fair that some people would rather have seen how fast she could have gone fresh. The general trend of athletes racing “as a workout” is somewhat off putting to me.
But she wore those stupid socks and the shades at night to milk a few sponsor bucks.
Back in my day before a WMM we'd run a 20-30 min shakeout at 5-6AM before the race, so not that impressive.
Haven't heard anything about Aliphine's fitness post childbirth.
Sally ran a 10K two weeks ago in 31:30.
Molly is a gritty runner, just needs to stay healthy.
