With pacing lights it would've been sub 26:10 easily, shoes + lights mean a world record, and they were just missing the lights today.

She's getting ready to attempt the 1500 WR at a bowerman time trial special in September paced only by her teammates.
The announcer guy is actually pretty clever

D@mnit. That would have been really fun to see Sugaru win back to back. Lost by like a quarter second.
Suguru obviously gifted that guy the win. But I thought Vaporflys are not allowed to be worn in track races?

anyone else see this back to back 10k thing as something Alberto would have his athletes do? just wondering

Who needs Zurich, when you can save it for Jesuit High School.
Caroline has been staying with us here in Portland the last couple of days. There were complications with her trying to get into Doha and she’s currently trying to renegotiate her Nike contract. There was a pacer in the 10k but she misunderstood what was expected of the pacer and probably started out a bit too slowly. She’s much more fit than her time reflects. She will be running the 10k in the Olympics for Kazakhstan.
Real question is who will win the team 3k, Portland or Seattle?
Shelby has officially scratched. Praying she’s just being super cautious and isn’t badly injured, she’s one of our best shots for a medal in Tokyo!!

Something is probably wrong. She hasn’t raced in ages. I hope she can even make it to trials, it doesn’t look great.

Great Boys H.S. 800 race! Sounds like they'll have Molly Seidel in the booth later on. Will be interesting to hear her thoughts on why she's jumping in the N.Y. Mini 10K in 2 weeks.
Who's ready for more action in the Electric Forest?
