I haven't read through this thread yet, but a few thoughts come to mind.
1. These workouts are being done at altitude...so, the pace is sort of secondary to the session.
2. This is a stand-alone session...meaning, you don't know that they didn't do something really hard and intense 2-3 days earlier and maybe this isn't meant to be that hard.
3. Again, it's a stand-alone session. We don't know what the weeks leading into this one session have looked like. Volume, intensity, etc.
I don't normally defend TME, but I think this one session doesn't really tell us much about why they have stagnated a bit. But, I would say that there are some interesting tidbits you can take away from the video.
Such as when Sam decides to take the workout into his own hands, which leads to some awkward moments with Jeff and Reed. Their comments are pretty interesting, as well as how the coach (Leslie) responds to what's going on.
