After a big-time fade on Friday night in the 800 in NYC (where he only ran 1:47), Murphy got a little redemption today.

Meanwhile robbie Andrew's would have trouble holding off the high school guys.
Surprised they even let Jeff Theis into this race after the stunt he pulled in that other race.
But yea, beating the tinmen by 2 seconds is great for Murphy. Meanwhile there's college kids running solo 3:35's...
Crap time and didn't beat anyone special

He doesn't know how to pace himself. He went out in 54 seconds at the USATF road mile a few weeks ago and was way ahead of bigger names than him like Murphy and then absolutely died and ran a terrible time (4:06) and was almost in last place. He does this in every race I've seem him run. He guns it super hard in the beginning and fades big time as he bonks to the finish.
Oh, that's known as a stunt?
I call it my high school track career
Rob Napolatino is representing Puerto Rico - is this new?
A road mile? Redemption?
Please.

Whatever beef you have with him, you should just let it go. Life’s too short brother.

Yet another person born and raised in the USA (went to NJ HS) who has no chance of making a US team takes the easy way out (ala Pappas).
Was that uniform he was wearing today a Puerto Rico national uni or something left over from the 1980s?

Ok. That’s funny.
But seriously, who runs a road mile at this time of year?

Lewandowski did win the bronze in 2019 - ahead of Igebrigtsen, right?
Or has this video been doctored?

Yeah... what a chump. Only a moran would take the opportunity to compete in the Olympics if they had the option...
Yup, just like Pappas. She's even worse. She was dumb enough to get book and movie deals out of this scam.
Its really dumb that any random person with ties to a foreign country and immense talent, put in years of dedicated training and scam their way into world championship events while I'm forced to sit here on my couch eating donuts!
