What baffles me is that people here in Seattle would utilize CDC as source of truth until it’s not convenient for them. Now that for some reason they don’t agree with CDC, and says it’s too lenient? That, I just don’t get.
CDC is very clear and it says follow local and workplace guidelines. If you disregard this recommendation from the CDC, you are not utilizing their guidance.
DCD knows that different conditions exist in different areas and catered their recommendation with it in mind.
Hmm, I guess I don’t see it as being clear. CDC states masks are not required if fully vaccinated in most situations and to follow local ordinances. Then, King County states as “strongly encouraged” to wear a mask whether or not vaccinated.
To me, strongly encouraged is not clear especially since CDC states that masks are not required for fully vaccinated in most situations.
On top of this, it’s less clear when one of the biggest if not the biggest employer in King County, Amazon, has now stated masks are not required for fully vaccinated in the office. As well as large employers like Starbucks and Target not requiring masks in the stores anymore in King County.
So to me, this is pretty confusing.
