Kerr ran a solid 800 and 5k (for a 1500 guy) recently. he hasnt peaked, but he was a top talent when he came to the team and due to durability will naturally progress regardless of coaching. i will say most of the rest of the team have been disappointments.
most guys in spencers shoes would likely pursue a real career and maybe grind on the side as possible except he already had a semi-lucrative (somehow despite only 50-60k youtube subs) career...so it made perfect sense for him to chase the dream, document it and see how pro training could cut down his 339 PR (a respectable time for college). it hasnt worked out yet, but i guess he has at least 6 more months to figure out if it will (he needs to stay healthy tho). the ways things are going its not looking good tho (for any of the beasts really besides kerr and a few of the ladies).
