Hey guys,
Im a college freshman (redshirting indoor and outdoor) and my coach and I have picked a 10,000 meter race over Easter weekend to peak for. My training has been going well with my mileage buildup looking like this:
73-74-44-82-90-96-90-63-75-97-104-107-101
This week will still be about 105 with two workouts. Next week we will drop to about 80 and then the week of the race we will come down to about 40 miles.
I feel the workout we have been doing are appropriate for the race distance and I'm shooting for a 32:30 (only about78 sec/400).
I am just asking for any tips or help that you guys can offer as this will be my first on track 10,000.
Sorry about the length of this post, but thanks a ton for any advice that you guys have to offer.
