Rojo put up a terrible article that implied correlation=causation (it doesn’t). In the 1500-10k the average 50th place athlete is 0.54% faster than they were in 2019. Rojo really thinks this is hard evidence that super spikes make people drastically faster. The 50th athletes in distance events being half a percent faster than they were 2 years ago is far from hard evidence that super spikes are making a huge difference.
