It is almost always used in a derogatory fashion in common use though. To the point where it has become a pejorative. It is on par with, “old white men.” If you hear that in a sentence the connotation will always be significantly negative.

there's just no reason for it.
There is a reason for it. It is to acknowledge the existence of transgender people. Learn what the new word means, then you won't be confused. Language is always evolving, so this should not be difficult. If you can understand what it means when someone tells you they "ubered" somewhere, then you should really have no problem adjusting to cis/trans.

Cisgender isn't a pronoun though, its just a category describing people who aren't trans or non binary. Its like how heterosexual means straight or homosexual means gay, being cis just means youre not trans. A trans woman is still a woman, shes just not cisgender. I'm not sure if you were like trying to make fun of pronouns, exclude trans people, or just didn't understand what cisgender means but hopefully that clears things up for you.
Non-binary is not a thing. You are either male, female or mentally ill.

The word transgender acknowledges the existence of transgender people. You do not need a word for "not transgender."
7.5/10
The words 'cis' and 'trans' come from Chemistry to describe whether bonds occur on the opposite or same side.
Ben Shapiro would be so proud of you.
Personal Pronouns are only for weak white liberals. That's it.
They are also the only people who believe in the mythical "white privilege" so they are always unhappy with themselves for being white.
They feel like they are the oppressor ......Can you imagine carrying that burden?
No wonder they all are so miserable.

It's so hilarious to me that these people feel such a need to legitimize their mental handicap that they will go as far as making up a separate category to place all normal people in.
😂😂😂😂😂☠️☠️☠️☠️👍👍👍👍👍
See I consider sex to be binary (either you have the SRY chromosome or not).
However gender I consider to be non-binary. There is no 100% "male" or "female" gender. There are simply a load of traits which are stereotypically "male" or "female".
Same with sexuality. It's a scale.
I agree get rid of the word Cisgender and go back to the word Normal.
Transgenders are Abnormal, Deviants, Misfits, a Healthy Society should not let Misfits control the language or anything else.

yup. this is simple.

Do not refer to me as cisgender. I don’t identify with that label.
I am “woman” or “female”. Please respect my choices.
Except it's an adjective. At least as you're using it here.

You do, if you'd prefer not to regularly use language that puts transgender people in uncomfortable positions. What's OFFENSIVE about it? You don't know. You just don't like trans people. You object to the attempt to normalize and respect them. What, do you think they should be issued some nonexistent treatment that will change their perceived gender identity? Lobotomies, shock therapies and other sadistic torture methods for the "abnormal"? Conservatives are always going on and on about how this is about "LOGIC" and "RATIONALITY". Nah, you all just take pleasure in being mean. That's what this is all about.

No body I know hates people with mental illness. Why can't we stop exploiting these people and help them for once?

lmao I think you mean adjectives. Regardless, you can certainly be a woman and not cisgender. Seems like you actually are cisgender, though, and this is the kind of thing where your comfort with the terminology doesn't really matter.

hope he sees this
I said don’t call me cisgender. It is most definitely a noun in this case. I said call me woman (also a noun) or female (yet another noun) instead.
There are some real morons (a noun) on here.
