How fast does one have to be to get a running related tattoo???

No it doesn't matter how fast you are. If you love running enough that you want to get a running related tattoo then just f***ing get one. But if you are really that iffy about the whole thing then you shouldn't get one because you'll constantly feel self-concious about it. Why oh why do soooo many people get a wild hair up their ass one day and decide "I'm gonna get a little chinese symbol for courage on my shoulder blade or a little winged foot on my ankle" only to regret it years later because the decision was based completely on a trend and the need to feel cool.

Some people are really into body art and have lots of ink work all over the place because its something they really have an ongoing interest in (and perhaps it's due to a little masochism). If you aren't one of these people and you just want to get one because you are feeling a little trendy with a splash of danger, then don't get one because that's just silly and you look like a complete dork.

I, for one, will be happy when this trend fades and frat boys are once again afraid of people with tattoos.

Don't know if that will happen any time soon. I'm sure the trend will fade but there will still be lots of people who have them from when they were teenagers. So you're right, there is really nothing dangerous about it anymore. There are still those people who have their arms and legs totally covered in tattoos, but even that has become more common than it used to be because of the whole "hardcore/emo/punk" scene. Personally, my arms are pretty much covered solid in tattoos and I realize that it does not make me "unique" or "dangerous" but I really enjoy going to get them and I really like the original artwork. What I don't like is people who just go get one or two really standard spring-break type tattoos because they wanted to be trendy. But I also realize that even the amount of artwork I have has become more commonplace than it used to be.
