This guy gave it all for his kid every time. Seems like a genuine good guy and fantastic dad.
Did the ironman with kid in front of him on a mountain bike and pulled him on a 2.4 mile swim in a boat and ran a marathon and fed him and gave him water and sunscreen. All because the kid told him, when they raced Ricky didn't feel disabled. A better gift could not be given to a child.
Dick was true legend. I only hope I could be half the parent he was :)
